My mom didn't care for it. It was loud, and had a chow hall feel, it was strangely out of place for Concord. Went again in the late 1980's with a friend when I was old enough to drink, and it hadn't changed one bit. There was a bar in a howard johnson's motel in Concord though that fit the bill for a quiet place to watch a celtics game and have a drink.
