I only found out recently, WROR was automat -- no wonder the music just kept on playing. I don't ever remember hearing Clark's last name, but he had that "everybody's friend" kind of voice. One day Clark ran an on-air focus group, incredulous that WBZ FM had better sound, yet WRKO had treble the ratings.
